Kia sweeps Game 1 and 2 of the Korean Series...looks to win 12th title



The Kia Tigers, the No. 1 team in the Korean Baseball Organization's regular season, got off to a great start in their quest for a 12th Korean Series title.

The Tigers rode the strength of their bullpen to a thrilling 5-1 victory in Game 1 of the best-of-seven (KS-7) best-of-five series of the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO Baseball Playoffs, which resumed today (April 23) at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju.

Kia continued its dominance in Game 2, an hour after the end of Game 1, with an 8-3 victory thanks to an explosion from the team's bats, including a home run by Kim Do-young.
